AMSAT-CA congratulates the University of Victoria team on the successful launch and first contact of MARMOTSat. This achievement reflects the dedication, innovation, and teamwork of the students, faculty, mentors, and supporters who brought the project from concept to orbit, and a commitment to furthering Amateur Radio in space.

University satellite programs such as CUBICS provide invaluable hands-on experience while inspiring the next generation of engineers, scientists, and Radio Amateurs. For the amateur radio community, MARMOTSat is another exciting addition to the growing family of satellites that support education, experimentation, and international cooperation.

Canada has a proud tradition of leadership in both space technology and Amateur Radio, and MARMOTSat continues that legacy. We look forward to following the mission, receiving its signals, and watching Radio Amateurs around the world contribute to its success.

On behalf of AMSAT-CA, congratulations to everyone involved in this remarkable accomplishment. We wish the MARMOTSat team every success in orbit and look forward to the opportunities for learning, discovery, and inspiration that this mission will provide.
